Message From Max :

For my Bar Mitzvah, I’m planning to raise money to help Ethiopian Jewish children in Israel get an education...

This May is the 18th (Chai) anniversary of Operation Solomon. Operation Solomon was a mission that miraculously airlifted more than 14,000 Jews from Ethiopia to Israel in 36 hours.

Ethiopian kids still struggle in Israel. They don’t have enough nutritious food and a high percentage of Ethiopian-Israeli students don’t succeed in school. We can help them by donating money to one of NACOEJ’s programs, Limudiah, which will help these kids get the tutoring they need.

I’m asking you to donate multiples of Chai ($18) to help Ethiopian Jews in Israel to have a better experience in school, in celebration of the (Chai) 18th anniversary of Operation Solomon.

I think donating for an education cause is very important. With an education, you can get a really good job to support the people you love. And Ethiopian-Israeli children, with your help, can work towards a GREAT career. Now it’s your turn to do a good deed!

Sincerely,
Max Slepian
