The Forster Family Kosher Food Pantry donates funding for food to many orphanages/shelters in Israel, and NACOEJ is the grateful recipient of The Forster Family Kosher Food Pantry’s latest act of generosity, donating toward our important lunch program for Limudiah students.

The NACOEJ Limudiah Intensive After-School Program for Ethiopian-Israeli children has been providing instruction to Ethiopian-Israeli children in first through sixth grades since 1993

The hot lunch is an essential part of the program. This element was introduced almost from the beginning, when our teachers realized that the children were unable to concentrate due to hunger. Many still come to school hungry, have little or nothing waiting for them after school, and eat meager dinners. They cannot benefit from afternoon education without a nourishing and filling hot lunch. We never run Limudiah Programs without the hot nutritious lunches which precede it.
